Positive: The property is located on a quiet street just outside the center of Chartres. I stayed just one day with my family, and it was a wonderful surprise. The apartment was large and comfortable, well-furnished with a clever mix of new and old. The hosts welcomed us warmly. We enjoyed a hearty breakfast on a beautiful terrace overlooking the garden. Absolutely perfect.

Negative: I can't find a real flaw, and I can't point to any significant improvement. I can only advise anyone with walking difficulties to ask for a ground floor apartment.

Positive: We had a wonderful welcome from our hosts. We had a free upgrade to the studio apartment which was well equipped, comfortable and very quiet at night. We had a nice breakfast at the house, with home made yoghurt, fresh figs and a choice of French breads with homemade jams. Our hostess made a takeaway breakfast for our last day as we had to leave early.
