Positive: Meals here were exceptional! Local specialties were used and the staff would go out to explain each dish and also check in on you from time to time. Shuttle services to the bus terminal and ropeway are provided too so it is a nice touch. They would also put in local snacks in their room after each day so we got to have a taste of them. Staff here were really responsive and helpful too!
Negative: Wifi is only usable in the hotel lobby area, the reception/signal is really bad if you try to use it in other areas such as your room/dining area

Positive: - Old style Japanese room (tatamis and all) - The included onsens (sulfure and regular) in the hotel! - not (too) from the ski lifts - the delicious breakfast - very helpful staff - compressed air to get rid of the stuck snow at the entrance
Negative: - external appearance of hotel off putting at first! Very plain and brutal look. - level of English of the staff. But we always get to understand each other one way or another.
Summary: Great large traditional room, and ideal for a good hot bath after a ski day
