Positive: This was such a unique and beautiful place to stay. There were stunning views throughout the property. The lodging was very comfy and I felt very safe as a solo traveler. The couple who ran it were very friendly and welcoming. Also, the dogs who live on the property are SO cuddly and sweet and they really helped with missing my pup from home!

Negative: The water was a bit chilly, but I learned a key tip- in Ecuador, you have to only rotate the faucet 1/4 of the way to get the hottest water!

Positive: Aracely welcomed us with open arms. She made us feel at home from the moment we met. We had a great time and wonderful memories. There are adorable dogs too. The room is comfy and had just what we needed considering the fact that we were in the countryside. Aracely offers breakfast and dinner. So no need to look for restaurants around. Beautiful views over the mountain from the guesthouse.

Positive: We loved everything about the property. It felt secluded but it was the perfect place to stay to access Cotopaxi. Aracely is an amazing host, she is so kind and helpful and makes you feel welcome from the minute you arrive. She helped us arrange a tour to the Cotopaxi refuge. Meals can be provided on site for a small fee and at your convenience. If you love dogs, this is the place for you!! There are four beautiful dogs at the property and we loved all of them.
