Positive: Very pleasantly surprised with Mateo Transalpina, the conditions were great, the staff very friendly and hospitable and breakfast was nice and homemade. Also, it's located at the beginning of the Transalpina road between the mountains, so if you're planning to do the whole route, it's an ideal place to stay at.

Positive: Such a wonderful pensiunea amidst fabulous landscape, run by kind people, who evidently put a lot of effort in accomodating their guests' wishes. Everything is high quality, the breakfast was great. I regret I forgot to try palinka offered as welcome drinks - a nice touch. I would be happy to return one day. Five stars!
