Positive: The property was beautiful (farm-chic?) and just ten minutes from Otranto. What we loved: (1) The ANIMALS! I was in my happy place because of the chance to visit with cats, dogs, donkeys, goats, horses, and more. (2) The staff were very kind and welcoming, offering suggestions about what to do with our time in the area. Mercedes, one of the owners, popped in a few times to check-in, but otherwise left us to enjoy the property undisturbed. (3) The meals, which we opted to purchase, were made from farm and/or local produce and of high quality. The dinners were "comprehensive" and the breakfast was a "spread" to say the least. The chance for an aperitivo by the fireplace was also a nice touch. While some have reviewed the meal prices as a bit high, you definitely get what you pay for. (4) The room was large, clean, and bed very comfortable. (5) The heated indoor pool and sauna, which was especially relaxing after a day of touring. This is a place you come to treat yourself.

Negative: Nothing. It was all great.

Positive: This is the absolute perfect place to come and stay if you have young children. The horses, dogs, cats, ducks, rabbits, chickens and donkeys really made our stay with our 2 year old extra special. It's also a beautiful venue with a lovely pool and an amazing interior to relax in even if you didn't have children. The highlight for us were the dinners that they hosted every couple of nights - delicious food and it felt like being at a family home, chatting with people from all over the world.

Summary: This is one of the best places we have ever stayed on holiday!

Positive: Good location , beautifully presented . Lovely to have all the animals , horses , donkeys , ducks , dogs , etc all walking around in harmony in a farm setting . Good sized pool and very helpful about where to visit Zeb’s restaurants to visit . Good breakfast and dinner if you decided to eat in .
