Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Our stay at this property has been the highlight of our trip to Southern Italy. We stayed for four days and loved the location., nestled in the Salento countryside, close to the beach and well positioned for a visit to the rest of the region (Otranto, Lecce etc) . The Masseria itself was a wonderful oasis of trees and birds and sculptures and stone buildings, lovingly restored by the family. Our two bedroom apartment was spacious and well equipped with plenty of light and lovely outdoor seating. But what we appreciated most of all was the generous welcome of the amazing family for whom restoring the Masseria had been their life‘s work. For an extra fee, they arranged an on site cooking class for us with many traditional Salento dishes - what an amazing experience! Our many many thanks to the wonderful family for sharing their dream with us!
