Positive: A peaceful yet energizing destination, rich in art and traditional architecture. It’s a great central location for reaching the famous beaches near Porto Cesareo, as well as being a short distance from Nardò and Gallipoli.

Negative: Wi-Fi isn’t available everywhere, but it works perfectly in the TV room, which makes for a nice digital detox. In August, there were some wasps in the morning and near the pool. Although the host was very eager to get it cleared, it’s probably not so easy to eliminate them quickly all in the countryside.

Positive: Location (not too far from Gallipoli, even closer to the beautiful west coast beaches, and a very short drive to Nardo (1 mile) every evening for dinner), parking, apartment, pool, breakfast were all great. The woman who prepared the breakfast was especially kind and helpful, and the food was wonderful.
