Positive: We came already 4 years ago. We love its charm, its remoteness and amazing views, the owners are amazing and incredibly helpful, going out of their way literally to help us, and the food is to die for.

Negative: The steep windy and pot-holed path to get to the property is a bit of a challenge! Grateful we did not encounter a car going the other way! But we knew this before booking again and you just need to take it carefully. We loved our quirky Tower bedroom, amazing views at the top, but as it is over 3 floors with steep twisty stone staircases it’s definitely not for people with any disability, injury, or simply who are worried going up or down stairs!!! It is also rather dark in the bathroom and entrance/lobby room. Luggage stays in that room for sure. When we come back next time we will try another room!

Positive: The location and facilities are great. We stayed with temperatures over 30degrees but the air conditioning coped. The owners were so helpful, even arranging early breakfasts for us. The evening meal is especially good and the breakfasts great

Negative: Be warned, the hotel is a mile up a dirt track and quite difficult to find. However the location more than makes up for this

Positive: The owners were super friendly and helpful and went out of their way to accommodate my dietary requirements. They initially said that they wouldn't have any vegan options for dinner but when we arrived they had made changes to the menu especially. Breakfast and dinner were both amazing for vegans and pescetarians.

Negative: We happened to arrive the first hot weekend of the year (mid April which was unexpected) and unfortunately the pool wasn't cleaned and ready for use.
