Nestled under the tall canopy of trees along the banks of the crystal-clear Cypress Creek, our property offers peace, tranquility and a spring-fed swimming hole. Well located, just 10 minutes from Wimberley Town Square, we are a great jumping off point for area attractions or better yet, the perfect place to relax and soak up the serenity of the Hill Country. Take a cool and refreshing dip in our spring-fed swimming hole, play a game of croquet with the family, or let the kids swing while you rest in the hammock. Then grill out and let the summer breeze along the creek at dusk put your soul at ease. You won't have to go far. The studio sits a couple of hundred feet from the creek and opens out onto a common lawn area with picnic table and grill, a swing, and hammock.

The studio is open and airy with one queen sized bed in a sleeping nook and a comfortable sofa bed that sleeps two. It's perfect for a couple or could accommodate a family with one or two young children. The kitchen has microwave, electric range, and toaster.

This house is one of three houses on the property that can be rented together, altogether sleeping a maximum of 10.

This house sits with three others that we own and manage. Rented together, they are the perfect place for retreats with family and friends! Rented alone, this house offers plenty of privacy from the others.

While our beloved Jacob's Well provides near continuous flow to Cypress Creek we are now susceptible to periods of decreased flow during prolonged dry spells. This can diminish water quality to the point where swimming is not recommended. Please know that we can not refund your stay based on creek conditions nor can we predict future conditions.. Current drought status for Hays county can be found online and water quality information for our part of Cypress Creek can be found on the Jacob's Well website during the swimming season.

Summary: This entire property was spectacular!! They actually have 4 homes total on this 10 acre property. We will be returning 100%. There is so much they thought of like floats, hammocks, swings, etc. This property would be perfect for any family.

Summary: We were looking for a place to getaway for the weekend. This location is just down the road from Jacob’s Well and 5 minutes from the square in Wimberley. The cabin is the perfect size for a couple with Cypress Creek at your backyard. We’re already making plans to come back to the area.

Summary: We truly enjoyed the cabin and loved the location. The swimming/floating was wonderful. Chairs and floats are provided. The weekend was very hot so we were glad we packed a fan for the sleeping area as it did get a little warm at night. The rest of the cabin was cool. We enjoyed shopping and eating in Wimberly. Definitely a great location and loved being right on the water!

Summary: A wonderful cottage that shares property and waterfront with 3 other homes on the property. House was cozy but plenty of room for a couple or small family. Linens and towels were good quality. We did bring an air mattress and there was plenty of space to set up. Kitchen had everything we needed, but be aware there is not a proper oven, but the counter convection oven worked perfectly for us. Outdoor space was really nice. We enjoyed coffee and meals on the deck and the kids had a blast playing on the swings and hammocks. The waterfront is a short walk and the water is clear and FREEZING, but so much fun. We floated, kayaked and played with the rocks. There are provided floats but we did bring our own and it was nice to have. The other guests were all very nice and people kept a safe distance but were very friendly. It feels like you are out somewhere secluded, but in reality only a few miles from town and great restaurants for take out. We will absolutely be back again. Thank you.

Summary: Took the family to the Hill Country for a few days and thoroughly enjoyed our time at Mas Suerte. We understood that the cabin is a studio and we manage fine with the space. The proximity to the private swimming hole is the selling point for the property and the reason we will request to book again in the future. Many thanks to Lara for a relaxing getaway.

Summary: Our family had so much fun getting away on this property. The owners were responsive and helpful. Loved being on the beautiful crystal clear water. My daughter got to kayak for the first time and can’t wait to do it again. She also had a blast in the swing and trying to catch fire flies. We will be back!

Summary: Everything was wonderful! The pictures Just can’t even do this place justice- the blue water was like a movie- We had deer every morning while we were eating breakfast On the porch- a whole little family Of deer! Water and property were so quiet and relaxing. This house was a perfect getaway for my mom and me- “studio” would have been enough space for my family of 4 (2 Littles on the sofa bed) too. Curtains kept it dark enough to sleep in if you like. I’m ready to rent the other houses for a family get away! Margaret

Summary: Our stay was pleasant. Water is ice cold, Jacobs Well is a short swim away. Enjoyed the canoe and kayak, lawn chairs and floaties supplied. House is comfy, but in 100 degree weather, a little hot during the day.
