Positive: A very modern living in a good part of Belvedere Marittimo. We had the possibillity to choose room (they had 3 more) and took a little smaller one but with a bigger balcony to use. The bathroom was very clean and modern. The wifi was working well. It was breakfast included and like the italian way we could go every morning to a bar the other side of the street and choose a sweet bakery and coffee. The host were very kind and picked us up at the trainstation and also drove us back the morning we where leaving. That was appreciated because it was a good distance from the station to the apartment. The historic part of Belvedere is higher up on a steep hill. To get there you can take the local bus that stops just 200 meter from the apartment (at the gas-station). It is very close to the lovely beach (with high waves) and the boardwalk there the locals are gathering nighttime.
Negative: It´s impossible to avoid but you have to be aware that the trains passes by close to the apartment and actually through the whole city. Sometimes that was disturbing. Hard to do anything about of course. Also the same about the neighbour in the apartment beside that drags chairs (or other furniture) over the floor early morning and late night. But he will maybee move out soon...

Positive: Perfect location, great hosts, new and very clean room. The owners were available and helpful all time. We had a bit smaller room but great balcony. I was a little worried that the location near the street would be too noisy, but it turned out that the room was really quiet, which allowed for a good night's sleep.
