Positive: Our private outdoor bath with a view was just unbelievable. The massage chair in our room was a bonus. The massages we received were great and at a reasonable price. Would have loved to stay longer.

Negative: We unfortunately had a spider infestation on our balcony. An amazing staff member did his best to clean it up, but it was still a bit of a problem when the spiders would descend onto our heads. Otherwise, it's an amazing place!

Positive: This hotel disappointed us because of really mixed feelings it provides. On one hand it's a 4 stars hotel (claimed) and everything is luxurious in the lobby and corridor. The onsens are really nice and you can relax on the different bath, big and public and smaller but private. We took the river side room and the view was absolutely stunning. The room was super nice Japanese style. The restaurant looked good but we didn't us it.

Negative: But on the other hand, our room (705) was old and smelled seafood like a very old sock, as did the 704. I don't know if people had a lot of seafood in these rooms the day before but the smell was really bad. You can open the windows a little but the tatami was smelling too, impossible to change the smell in 2-3hours. Last but not least, the air conditioning is like 20years old and squeaks like an old airplane. We could barely sleep, we stayed 1 night and were happy to leave.

Summary: Once a 4 star hotel, long time ago...

Positive: Gorgeous location, a perfect place to relax.

Negative: Buffet dinner is not what we would like, it would be better if they also offered ala carte. Breakfast is superb though.

Summary: Very satisfied, would love to come back and recommend to others.

Positive: The facilities were amazing, great views, very good onsen, good value for price. The workers were very nice and helpful, there're some speaking in English and the ones that don't use very pleasantly the translator.
