Summary: My son, my wife and I stayed here for 4 nights while attending Monster Jam World Finals at Rice-Eccles Stadium over the July 4th weekend. This hotel was the best choice for this event. Every member of the staff we met during our stay was friendly and welcoming. Our room was ready as soon as we arrived even though we were there 30 minutes before our check in time. The room itself was very clean and well maintained. The beds were comfy. We did have a minor issue come up during our stay but let it be known that it was resolved within 12 hours by the hotel staff. Just a note about the room remember to bring your dongles for your phones especially if your devices use c ports. They have a couple usb ports in the room but they are plenty of outlets to charge all your devices. The FREE WiFi was fast. The hotel does have 3 restaurants Thistle & Thyme which was open for breakfast. The Skybrook Kitchen + Bar which was open for lunch and dinner. Then Starbucks which was open for breakfast. There is not much around the hotel for food so we used GrubHub and Uber Eats to have food brought in. One of the best things about the hotel is you are only a little over a mile walk away from Rice-Eccles stadium. If you are attending an event at Rice-Eccles stadium and do not want to hassle with traffic or parking I would recommend staying here. My rating : BEST.

Summary: The room was not updated or kept up. The bathroom door handle fell off, the bathtub shower was backed up, and the overall room was old.

Summary: I registered for a disability room. It was not! The ramp up and down to get to my room was way too steep. No walk in shower and the toilet was too short. I want to stay here again because it is so close to the hospital. However I will not be using that ramp again after my hip replacement. Another room would be fine.

Summary: A. The toilet was clogged. I told the front desk in the morning so the problem could be addressed while we were out. Problem was same at 5 pm, but the representative told me it had been "looked at." Same situation at 10pm. while I was told the engineer had looked at it. Everyone knows how to address a toilet problem, and it is more involved than just looking at it. Actually, I am quite sure no one ever entered the room and frankly did not appreciate the deceptions. Anyway, at 10:30 pm were offered another room but it was too late by then to move everything. So we just made a couple middle night trips to lobby facilities. B. She tell customer in advance about parking fees.
