The apartment is suitable for business travelers, short stays, weekend getaways and visiting family close-by and has it's own access.
We live upstairs and with wooden floors, some noise must be expected, although we might no be around much.
We are on tank water, so there will be a bit of noise from the pump.
Cooking facilities are limited and there are no laundry facilities, it's best suited for shorter stays.
The space
There is a microwave, kettle, toaster, electric frying pan, slow cooker, rice cooker, gas bbq and small fridge. Cutlery, crockery and glassware for 4 people. The cooking facilities are limited and there is no laundry facilities.
The cottage on the same property is more suitable for longer stays. All linen, towels and beach towels are provided.
The Apartment is wheelchair friendly with only a step to get up into the apartment.
Guest access
The apartment is accessed via the gate next to the right hand garage. The dogs will not have access to the area during your stay.
Other things to note
We have two dogs on the property, an English Bulldog and a Griffon/Chihuahua. We have fencing to keep the dogs away from guests.
Bookings are limited to Friday’s through to Mondays due to the limited cooking and laundry facilities. Extended stays may be considered on individual application. We have cameras on the main house, for security purposes.

Summary: We are a family of 4 and we had such a comfortable stay at Marlee apartment. Margherite's communication was great and made check in so easy after a day of travelling. The apartment is very inviting, plush carpet and beautifully presented. Margherite's thought of all you might need for a comfortable stay with toiletries and pantry items plus storage containers for any leftover cooking. Even a packet of biscuits and chocolates on the bed, was a lovely touch and well enjoyed by all! Wifi and Netflix included which was entertainment plus. The kids have already asked to return! I loved the make up table to get ready in the mornings in the main bedroom and we had comfortable sleeps in the bed. There was ample closet room to put clothes in so we werent living out of bags. Thank you so much Margherite and Leon!

Summary: We had a family wedding in Auckland and needed a place to stay for 3 adults. This apartment was ideal - great size, everything we needed, convenient location and our hosts were lovely. Added bonus of free wi-fi too, which was much appreciated.

Summary: We had a lovely weekend. The accommodation was very nice - what a joy to have all the basics in the fridge! Thank you! We had to leave early on Sunday because of Cyclone Gabrielle arriving - we wanted to get home, but we accomplished everything we set out to do! Lovely restaurants just down from the place - we used the gastropub - yummy food.
