Summary: This was a hard review to write. Ordinarily I would expect a 5 star rating to reflect a certain amount of luxury, which this house doesn't really have. The appliances and furnishings are adequate but basic, and the kitchen is not stocked for anyone planning to do anything but the simplest cooking. (Lots of plates, cups, silverware, etc but no large pots, frying pans, baking equipment, or mixing bowls. On the other hand, the arcade is amazing, there are 4 massage chairs in the separate TV room, and the host is outstanding, replying to questions immediately and making helpful suggestions. So, if someone is looking for luxury this is probably not a good choice, but if traveling with older kids and teens, it's perfect. Many thanks to David for being so friendly and helpful - you made our stay great!

Summary: We had a great family trip to Chicago. Our group included 7 adults, a 2 year old, and a 4 year old. This house literally has something for everyone. We loved the massage chairs, some loved the huge arcade in the basement, some of the adults used the hot tub and the kids loved the pool (although the cool weather limiged that). The host was great about answering questions and did everything for us to have a great stay. The house is located in a great neighborhood and is close enough to many attractions in Chicago. We would stay here again.
