Positive: Excellent location for staying in Melnik. We recommend the local wine, particularly the Melnik 55. Our room had a pleasant terrace. Good shop underneath with better value wine than elsewhere in the village. There are good breakfast options, although not included in price of room.

Negative: Colour scheme and furnishings were quite dated and the room was very small

Positive: Clean and quiet room, in the very center of the town. The hotel is a small family owned facility, they have also a restaurant and a grocery shop. Historical surroundings, tasty food and good wine. The local wine has been notorious for centuries not only in the region, but also abroad, also in far countries.

Negative: For the hotel I have no reserves, but the town itself has to be better managed. Anyway, this is a question to the city administration, not to the hotel.

Summary: A wonderful place for an overnight stay in Melnik.

Positive: The best choice in Melnik. Very nice, clean hotel in the center of the village. The lady is marvelous., ready to help you anytime. The food at the restaurant was extremely beautiful. ( Don t forget to order onion rings). Strongly recommended.We will return....
