Summary: What an incredible place! Very kind, friendly staff. The location is great — if you go around the holidays, you’re in walking distance of the Christmas Market by 20 minutes, but far enough away that you don’t have to deal with any crowds. The room was gorgeous and overlooked a creek. We woke to the sound of church bells! So idyllic.

Summary: The hotel is set in a residential area outside the centre which was perfect as it gave peace and quiet in the evenings. The hotel staff were extremely helpful. The bar and restaurant area had a traditional Bavarian feel and was reasonably priced. We ate in the bar twice and both times had a lovely meal. Great tasting beer. An additional bonus was a glass of prosecco for our anniversary. In our room was a comfy king bed, and plenty of room. Unfortunately, the heating didn't work in the room and although we were given an oil filled radiator, this meant the lights flickered in the room which impacted the comfort of the room. In the bathroom area there wasn't any shampoo and conditioner - for a top range hotel this was disappointing. We didn't have breakfast as €20 per person was a bit steep for a buffet. Other alternative options nearby for a lot less. We walked into the centre each day which only took 15/20 mins. There was a bus stop right by the hotel for easy access. Another bonus for being in the residential area was on Saturday morning there was a local food market which had a great buzz about it.

Summary: Had a slight issue with the self check-in key activation on arrival, but resolved remotely by the staff. Room was fantastic if a little noisy near the road. Lovely bar downstairs with wonderfully helpful and friendly staff on every shift. Would definitely stay stay here again and thoroughly recommend

Summary: I got this hotel because Expedia said the hotel had a bar. When we showed up we found out the bar wasn’t open on Monday and Tuesday. Then on Wednesday we found out the bar doesn’t open until 5pm. I’m not sure who comes to a foreign country and doesn’t have dinner planned outside of their hotel. Honestly I’ve only ever done lunch and breakfas. anyway…that would be fine but the hotels “bar” (I.e selective sponsored beer and wine only) is only open for those hours as well. Disappointed. Also there is no lunch service. So if you do sleep in and miss breakfast oh well! Also there’s really no front desk service. You come in and have to sign in via a tablet that can’t input UK postal codes. There’s absolutely no human interaction. If you have questions? Pick up the phone and hope someone answers!

Summary: Friendly, Comfortable, Quirky and Affordable is what you get at this quaint accommodation. Slightly away from “main” attractions for vacationers (but okay if you’re fairly mobile or willing to take a simple bus) however when considering the cost savings compared to staying in the center of things it makes sense for many.

Summary: Loved the room, it had a quirky design, well presented and clean. Lovely breakfast selection, yummy scrambled eggs. Great shower, good toiletries and necessities. Bed comfortable, pillows not so comfortable. Air-con would have been a plus, but there was a fan in the room which was put to good use

Summary: Very nice small hotel. Our room was very comfortable and clever design with good storage and all felt quite new. Great location for us who wanted to be outside of inner city but easy for public transport and walking. Reception hours are limited but one can call.
