Positive: My fiancé and I recently went on a 3-day trip to Kumarakom and Marari, and we stayed at Marari Boban's Villa. Our experience there was nothing short of exceptional. The property is absolutely beautiful, and the hospitality we received made it feel like a home away from home. We checked in late at night around 10:45 PM, yet Mr. Sajith Boban, the host, welcomed us with a warm smile and a refreshing glass of juice. From that very moment until the time we departed—with his kind wishes for a safe journey—he made sure we felt cared for and comfortable. He is truly the reason our stay became so memorable. Mr. Sajith is incredibly polite, warm, and welcoming. His kind attitude and attention to detail stood out throughout our stay. We had originally planned to stay in Kottayam for just two days and then head to Cochin, but after experiencing such genuine hospitality, we cancelled our Cochin plans and extended our stay by another day at Boban’s Villa. The breakfast served every morning was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and prepared with so much care. The room we stayed in was simple yet aesthetically designed, offering both comfort and charm. The most unforgettable part of the trip was a surprise birthday celebration planned just for me. I had no idea what was coming! With Mr. Sajith’s incredible support, my fiancé and friends were able to organize everything in secret. We had a beautiful, private spot at the property for the celebration, and Sajith kindly guided them with the decorations and arrangements. It was truly magical and touched my heart deeply. If you choose Boban’s Villa, be prepared to forget the word "No". Sajith goes above and beyond to ensure his guests are happy and comfortable. This is, without a doubt, one of the most recommended stays we’ve ever had.

Positive: I had an amazing stay at Boban's villa that exceeded all my expectations. I felt welcomed immediately. First of all, the accommodation and garden are beautiful and there are many lovely details that make it really cozy. Its modernly furnished and really very clean. The home-cooked meals are also so delicious. I have absolutely nothing to complain about. But what really made this stay so special for me was the incredible hospitality of the host and his family. Sajith, the host, organized such special trips, for example a boat trip at sunrise or a visit to a local festival, which were outstanding experiences for me and gave me an authentic insight into life here. He took care of everything so that I had the best time in Kerala and helped me with every problem or question in a very pleasant and helpful way. I couldn't have wished for anything more. Especially as a woman traveling alone, I would like to emphasize that I felt very safe. Without any doubt, I highly and wholeheartedly recommend this homestay. I am truly sad to leave this place that felt like home for a few days, and I am also deeply grateful for my stay there and for meeting such good-hearted people. Thank you for everything.

Positive: It was perfect! Sajith is always there for you. He helped me a lot with everything and made it so much simpler as a solo traveler. He borrowed me his bicycle, took me to places. He made the stay just amazing! He was always there if I had any questions. You have a beautiful empty beach just nearby as well. The location is a bit outside, calm, makes it harder to get some food but all the restaurants in this area are made for take outs and not to stay in. I would have stayed even longer but already had some plans afterwards. Sajith, thank you 🙏🏽
