Positive: I enjoyed the food and the service from an excellent and attentive staff. I also stayed in ones of the rooms, which was comfortable, though a fan in the room would be a nice addition. You can dine inside or outside and there's a pool and separate bar. It has a romantic atmosphere after sundown with good lighting. It takes a few minutes to walk to the beach from here. I enjoyed my brief stay, particularly the kindness and smiles of the staff. They even turned on some rock Latino for ambience when I asked for it.

Negative: The neighborhood isn't the nicest, but once you step through the gates of Marakos, you're in a new world.
