Positive: Location of the apartment is amazing. It is central and gives you opportunity to enjoy Paris on foot. All what’s needed is around the corner. Very convenient and accessible.

Negative: It’s unfortunately not really well maintained. It’s “ok”, but a small renovation would be greatly needed. It’s not the most expensive one, but it is not cheap too. So definitely not a value for money.

Summary: It’s ok.. but don’t expect too much.

Positive: The location is excellent, right next to Notre Dame. We were able to go wherever we wanted just by taking walks. It’s about half an hour from the airport by metro. Comfortable for the six of us who stayed there.

Negative: The cleanliness was very disappointing. The microwave didn’t work. The facilities need better hygiene.

Summary: Comfortable, but could be improved.

Positive: The apartment is only 2 min off the subway. Having three bedrooms provides privacy. I was able to make myself breakfast every morning using the available pots and pans. Having a washer on site plus a towel drying rack was a huge bonus. Ronny came when I couldn't figure out the check-in instructions. He was very kind and helpful. Ronny doesn't speak much English and prefers to communicate in French. It is also only a 10 min walk to Notre-Dame. This area has a ton of restaurants in the area and is very safe.

Negative: On the Wed of my stay, there was a club event next door til 2 am but since the buildings are connected, you can hear the blaring music and screaming people at the club. You must lug your luggage up and down the stairs yourself. The cleaning lady for the main floor kept telling me doucement Mme. There is no Wifi. Although Ronny was helpful, he initially told me I had to speak with someone who spoke better English who could help. Once I switched to French, he was very helpful.

Positive: The central Paris location was fantastic - located right next to the Pompidou centre and minutes from a Metro station and the river

Negative: The apartment was basic but given the price and location this was to be expected! The second and third bedrooms are separated by a partition which was fine for kids but maybe less so for couples

Positive: Fantastic location. Great for 6 people and value for money.

Negative: A clothes drier would have really helped. The shower is alittle finecky to get the right temperature. This is nitpicking and overall the apartment's size, facilities, location and price make this an exceptional place to stay.

Positive: We stayed at Appartements Marais proche du Théâtre Renard from 12/01/2026 to 16/01/2026 in the small 5-person apartment. The location is very well situated, with easy access to nightlife, food, and sightseeing, which was a big positive for our trip. The apartment itself is very small. As we were out sightseeing most of the time this wasn’t a major issue, but it did become awkward when everyone was getting ready or when all five of us were around the dining table.

Negative: There were several negatives that affected our stay. The shower door leaked badly, flooding the bathroom floor every time the shower was used, which with five people became a constant problem. The laminate flooring outside the bathroom is also badly damaged, presumably due to this ongoing leak. The two double bedrooms have a sliding door between them which does not lock or offer any form of sound proofing or privacy. On our third day, while two of us went out to get coffee, two unknown men entered the apartment using a key. My wife asked them to leave, which they did. The owner later advised they were contractors carrying out an inspection, but no prior notice had been given. After this incident, the women in our group felt uncomfortable staying in the apartment alone, and we were reluctant to leave valuables there, meaning we had to carry everything with us each day. On our final night, new guests arrived in the apartment next door. Noise travelled extremely easily, even down to rolling suitcases. Later that evening, around 22:30, they became very loud, laughing and shouting. Although the noise stopped after knocking on the wall, there is clearly no soundproofing, despite it being described on Booking.com. Overall, the apartment would benefit from updating, better maintenance, and clearer communication regarding access to the property.
