Welcome to Maple Cottage, a private Sutton Knob custom home, with features your entire group will love! Begin your vacation the moment you start to drive up the mountain, and enjoy beautiful far reaching peak-a-boo vistas around every turn. Located only 10 minutes from the entrance to Pisgah National Forest, this high-end, 2-bedroom home has a gravel driveway with ample parking space and a garage. The main entrance of the home is accessible by 2 steps. The entryway opens into the great room with tongue-and-groove ceilings, big windows for tons of natural light and big mountain views, a wood-burning fireplace, plenty of comfortable seating, a TV, and unique rustic touches. A half bath is located just off the entryway. The dining area is off the living room and has a table with spaces for 6. The thoughtfully equipped kitchen is complete with stainless steel appliances, a standard coffee pot, a Keurig, and all the dishes, pots, and pans guests will need to create meals for their group.
The primary bedroom in Maple Cottage is located off the great room and is complete with a King-sized bed and a second TV. The ensuite primary bathroom is home to dual sinks, a luxurious soaking tub, and a custom-tiled shower. Bedroom 2 boasts 2 Queen-sized beds and another ensuite bathroom with a single sink and large tiled shower.
Maple Cottage guests can soak up the outdoors, without even leaving! The massive mountain views are visible from almost every room in the house! Summary: I wanted a peaceful stay with my 90 year old mama and this place fit all the requirements... what a beautiful house! The views are incredible.... you're also a 5 minute drive up a mountain so not a long drive back down to Brevard... you're close to everything.. we loved our stay and hope to stay again sometime.
