Gorgeous character filled cottage within easy reach of kangaroo Valley and Berry for up to four people. Recently renovated and tastefully decorated with everything you need for a perfect stay. Tranquilly situated in an elevated northerly position with stunning Kangaroo Valley views set on over 8 acres with a variety of wildlife on the property. From the moment you enter the gates of Maple Cottage you will unwind and appreciate the country lifestyle.
Farmhouse style double Dutch doors provide a unique light filled entry. Open plan kitchen/dining and lounge area with cathedral ceilings and a pot-belly fireplace - firewood provided from May to September - for those cool winter nights. The fully equipped kitchen boasts new gas appliances, a coffee machine and everything you need to cook or bake, while the outdoor barbeque provides for relaxed dining. Twobedrooms superbly appointed to help you enjoy a peaceful retreat. The cottage has spectacular open rural views from every room and French doors leading out to a large entertaining deck as well as a small deck to soak up some tranquillity and privacy. The modern bathroom includes a large walk-in walk-out shower and a cast iron free-standing bath with lovely views across the property and beyond.
The property contains two dams, with yabby nets provided should you wish to have some fun catching them. The land is mostly cleared and includes an orchard with a variety of fruit trees as well as a gully running down the length of the property. There are many areas to explore and the elevated position provides views across to the classic Kangaroo Valley backdrop of rolling hills and mountains. Wildlife on the property includes resident wombats, kangaroos and wallabies, echidnas and even deer as well as an abundance of birdlife.
Maple Cottage is ideal for a luxurious stay providing privacy and a little country charm with quality inclusions. Yet it is only five kilometres to Kangaroo Valley village and 15 minutes to Berry. The pristine south coast beaches are also easily accessible from Maple Cottage.
While there is another house located on the same property the owners do not use it while guests are at the cottage so you will have the whole property to yourself.
Maple Cottage is not suitable for children under 12 and does not allow pets.

Summary: A lively cottage in a fabulous location. Maple cottage was one of the best provisioned home stays I have ever stayed in. A lovely cottage with great sun, tranquil views and beautifully decorated. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would go back again. The only thing I would say is that you are close to the Mossvale Road, so you do hear quite a bit of road noise, but it does die down as night falls. Do not let this deter you we still had a great stay.

Summary: Check out was bizarre as we had to put all the bowls and plates back after they were cleaned, but as we had breakfast and started cleaning up, the dishwasher hadn’t finished the cycle before we left. Knowing they took an extra $1,000 from our bank in case of damages, I am still hoping we get all that back even with a few dishes left in the dishwasher.

Summary: Felt like we were in another world. The cottage is so beautifully presented. And to be able to sit by any window and see the most amazing views brought such a sense of restfulness. We were blessed to have some cool weather so even got to light the fire. We were blessed.

Summary: We loved our stay at Maple Cottage. It was just so perfect.... beautiful view, amazing bird life, super lovely clean cottage with an extremely well stocked kitchen and fresh herbs in the garden. We stayed for the occasion of my mother-in-laws 90th birthday and cooked her up a lovely lunch which we enjoyed on the deck. These are memories that we will cherish forever.
