Positive: I keep coming to this hostel. It is great location to reach from both SAW Sabiha Airport and Kadikoy. It is a 3 floors hostel with coworking area, cinema, meeting room and terrace with nice view. I love the fact that this place has weights on top floor. Good value for the money

Positive: The women’s dorm felt like a good value for $17 USD a night for the location I needed on the Asian side of Istanbul

Negative: Others sometimes left the kitchen messy, especially the stove area.

Positive: I had already stayed in the dorm a night, but stayed 4 nights in a single room due to work demands and needing a quiet space to myself for meetings and work. Taking a shower early in the morning meant no line so no problems there. The kitchen was functional and having a tiny bit of refrigerator space was helpful.

Negative: The price for the single was about double the dorm price - I debated staying in the single a fifth night but ultimately went back to the dorm as I needed to save money.

Summary: Single room appreciated for work space and video call privacy while juggling work and travel

Positive: Really easy to find, thanks to a description Manu sends to you when you book. Without internet absolutely no problem. One hour from reaching metro M4 station at SAW. Next morning 1,5 hours to IST by bus and metro (but mind the traffic jams). Nice hostel. Plenty of common space on the floor 2.

Negative: For me it was too hot in the room (girls room for six), even though we were just three. Open window is too loud (traffic) and probably would be eventually too cold.

Positive: The manager was very helpful and tried to accomodate my requests. The place is actually quite nicely renovated, but I didn't notice it first, as it was quite messy...

Negative: Messy, stuff around, kitchen not clean, people left dirty pans, food, stove is oily. The manager did some basic clearning, but only late in the evening. The place just needs to be kept clean, and there shouldn't be stuff around (some boxes, etc). And the place definitely needs airconditioning; you won't be comfortable there without it - it is Turkey. It was terribly hot despite fans.

Summary: Ok for one night.
