Positive: Lovely hotel, spacious rooms. Spa and sauna was lovely. Pool area clean. Nice bar and restaurant. Spoke to a lovely Australian man on the desk who was very helpful shame about the other staff

Negative: 1 room had a dirty fridge and bugs, other room was clean but the bathroom floor was dirty, the white floor mat wasn’t so white. The snack basket in the rooms some of the packets were 5 months out of date. Swimming pool freezing cold. Reception staff unhelpful when we complained about bugs in the room and dirty fridge, after 3 hours nothing was done. Was told she was dealing with a man who wasn’t happy with his room!! They offered one of us a new room and also offered same room to the man! I mean it’s not difficult is it. The front line manager was like talking to a brick wall, she didn’t once apologise or try and sort the situation out she just looked at us like we was mad. The guy we spoke to in the morning was lovely and very apologetic and surprised the customer service was so poor. If they sort the cleaning situation and train their reception staff it could be an amazing hotel.
