Positive: I like the open air onsen, nicely setup close to nature feel. The room is spacious with a big bathroom and private onsen too, view over the lake, theres a small balcony that you can sit to enjoy the peace of the lake. Very nice, i love it. Les crowded comoare to Borokan, i prefer this. Meal was nice except the dining hall.

Negative: The dining hall feels like eating in canteen, but food is good.

Positive: Nice view of Misasa. Misasa is a good location, close to NageireDou temple, also close to Kurayoshi if you get bored of relaxing in the onsen. The food was really good, the dining area was cute the way it was set up, with the private dining rooms off to the side of a large open area with stones. Valet service made parking easy.

Negative: The place felt a bit dated. The air circulation in the room wasn't great. Sometimes the staff seemed less friendly than other ryokans. We didn't see any other westerners there, so perhaps they weren't used to dealing with non-Japanese speakers. On more than one occasion the server seemed exasperated with us.

Summary: Great food, but overall seemed over priced.
