Lots of charm for this 1900 house with beautiful volumes, many fireplaces, cement tiles and parquet floors.
On the ground floor: dining room - living room with piano, library and TV, kitchen, WC.
On the 1st floor: 1 double bedroom with 160 cm bed, large bathroom with 2 basins, bath and walk-in shower, 2 children's bedrooms with 120 cm bed and crib for one and 90 cm bed with possibility of mattress on the floor for the other, through bathroom with sink and walk-in shower, separate toilet.
On the 2nd floor: large home cinema lounge, 2 double bedrooms with 140 cm beds, through bathroom with basin and walk-in shower, separate WC.

Summary: Great location for walking into Lavaur and driving to other beautiful tourist spots (eg Albi, Carcassonne, Toulouse). Lavaur has plenty of restaurants and cafes to suit all needs, although it's worth noting that these are closed on Sunday evenings and on Mondays. All the bedrooms are large and spacious (although at time of writing there were no wardrobes in the rooms). Lovely social spaces downstairs: living room, dining room with large table, outside seating space and outside dining area. There is a trampoline and a treehouse in the garden, and the pool is ideal for a family with children to enjoy playing in it. As a small group of adults we would have preferred a larger area close to the pool for sunbathing occasionally. The hosts were very helpful and always responded to any questions we sent them. Thank you Eric and Eugenie. Thank you also to Pascale who prepared the house, met us on arrival and came to check the house as we were leaving.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful family home. Communication with the owners was excellent, and the small issue we had with the kitchen tap was resolved quickly, which was much appreciated. The house had air conditioning on the top floor, but we felt it could benefit from it being on the other sleeping level also. This was due to a particularly hot spell at the beginning of the week which made it difficult to sleep. Some of the wardrobes still had the owners clothes in which limited the space for guests. We felt these should have been locked away. The wine and conserve left as a welcome gift was very kind and enjoyed by our group. The children enjoyed playing we the toys and games and of course playing in the welcoming pool. We would highly recommend this property and the owners. Thanks also to Pascale the house keeper who had the property ready for us on our arrival.

Summary: We spent a fantastic week’s holiday in Lavaur. The property was beautiful and perfect for our 2 families - we loved the pool and trampoline in the garden. It was also easy to walk into town, to local shops and restaurants. Eric and Eugénie were really helpful and welcoming.

Summary: Just returned from a lovely two week stay. The house was big enough to comfortably accommodate 2 families (2 adults and 3 children + 2 adults and 2 children) with plenty of room for everyone. We found the house was really quite elegant, clean and well equipped and the owners (who we met on the second day) were very friendly and helpful. We visited during a heatwave which lasted nearly the entire two weeks, with temperatures peaking around 36C. The house does not have air conditioning, so we made good use of the large, enclosed, swimming pool (which has plenty of inflatable toys for the children) and the fridge-freezer ice maker! Our favourite place was at the rear of the house, where there is a very nice shaded patio area overlooking the garden and swimming pool. The house is within walking distance of a couple of supermarkets (Leaderprice was the best) and Lavaur town centre, with various restaurants and shops also nearby. This allowed us to enjoy a very relaxing and lazy couple of weeks. Recommended! Steve and Sue (Guernsey, Channel Islands).
