Summary: The elevator doesnt work before 9am and requires staff to run it…i had to carry a suitcase down three lights of stairs as i had to leave at 7 for a flight

Summary: The rooms were clean, the staff very friendly and helpful. It's being beautifully kept up. For and older building, that's difficult to do.

Summary: Came the day after halloween, was told it would be a little bit before we could check in at 4 pm. We finally got checked in at 6. Not a good start to a mini vacation. Lounge was not a good experience either. Over priced food for reheated queso and chips. Wifes drink had no orange or pineapple juice in it all sour mix and was nasty. Room was good just not a good start.

Summary: Lots of character and history. Nice to stay in a place that isn't cookie cutter. Room had everything expected, including nicely updated bathroom, but nothing but a small ledge to put toiletries. Could use a small table or deeper shelf. Enjoyed a drink and music in restaurant on site. Very convenient

Summary: Cool and interesting place with lots of history. The room was clean and comfortable. The ceiling fan and small room fan were appreciated, but an iron would have been nice. My only complaint was that you could hear everything, which is to be expected in an older building. The upstairs neighbor throwing things and stomping around at 2am was brutal though. Wouldn't recommend for people who have difficulty with stairs.

Summary: Great stay at an old heritage Hotel. The facilities could use a little freshening up but however is saying that this is a building that is over 100 years old and that in itself made it a very cool place to stay. Staff was very good and accomodating and took the time to fill us in on the history of the building. a little bit away from town but great views of the bay. Great little BBQ joint two blocks away, doesnt look like much but the food was great. I would recommend this hotel.
