Positive: We had an excellent stay at Mr. Manos' house and can highly recommend it. We stayed there for 10 days with our two children. The house and all amenities are of very high quality and excellently equipped. Mr. Manos is an amazing host and helped us in every regard. It really felt like home and we would love to stay there again in the future.

Positive: The host was very generous and had left plenty of food and water. Additionally, they had left us some baked cakes and pastries, made by their grandmother for the panagia (15 Aug). The house had a beautiful view from the terrace and was exceptionally clean all throughout. It was well equipped with all the amenities you need for a short to long stay. There were a couple of nice taverns in the village but also not far from the main highway to get around the rest of Chania. There is a car port available, and driving is recommended if you are staying here.

Negative: It's hard to fault anything at all.

Positive: The house was well equipped and the refrigerator stocked as well. The owners also made us a tasty cake which we ate for breakfast throughout our stay. The veranda was the best part of the house. We'd sit drinking our coffee with the incredible view below. Spilias village is an excellent destination to stay in Crete. A quiet village with 2 excellent reasonably priced taverns.. close to the city Chania by car but not too close as we tried to avoid the overwhelming crowds of tourists. And not too far from many tourist attractions, and famous beaches. Also, we forgot some articles of clothing and the owners sent them to us after we left, which was quite thoughtful.

Negative: We weren't aware that this was a 1bedroom apartment...2 beds are in the living room area. Which was fine, but might be a problem for those needing more private space. For a family of 4 with 2 small children, it will be convenient.
