Positive: Friendly reception and well-kept grounds. The room we were in was newly renovated and tastefully done. I was expecting motor-hotel experience, but was pleasantly surprised.

Negative: Pricing. Maybe it is an 'island thing', but pricing was double what I am used to paying for this kind of stay. It was also 'off season', so I was surprised at the price tag. Maybe on account of the time of year, but not much choice for dining out or anything. Looked for a local pub online, but we could not even locate the single one that showed up in the search.

Summary: Overall good experience and did what it needed to, albeit at a high price.

Positive: The room was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Negative: It would have been nice to have had a comfortable chair to sit in and watch TV + somewhere to put your luggage rather than on the floor.
