Positive: The whole place has a lovely vibe and made me feel relaxed. The property is large enough that I was able to find little pockets to escape to. Aromatherapy massage was excellent. Food was always excellent and there was a large variety!

Negative: The only thing that’s missing is a pool and a gym

Positive: I liked the location of the hotel, few people. Very lush wild environment. It's nice to spend time on the terrace of the house. Helpful staff. Good service. Good breakfast.

Negative: This hotel is not suitable for those who sleep sensitively, because there is no insulation from the outside, and in the early morning, when nature wakes up, there are a lot of sounds. The fans in the house or the cooling mechanism above the bed are also noisy. The bed is covered with an insect net. You can meet lizards in the room. The shower and toilet are under the open sky, so it is not comfortable to go there at night. There is no glass in the house, only wooden grilles. This will not be a disadvantage for nature fanatics :) The hotel could take better care of the small beach - sometimes rake the sand from larger branches and the like. After evaluating the experience, the price turned out to be a bit too high.

Positive: I recently stayed at Mango Bay Hotel in Phu Quoc and had a lovely overall experience. The setting is beautiful and very eco-friendly, with the hotel designed to blend naturally into the surrounding environment. One of the highlights was the outdoor bathroom — a unique touch that added to the natural, open feel of the place. The room itself was charming and comfortable, but it didn’t have air conditioning. While I understand this is part of the eco-friendly concept, it was quite hot most of the time, especially during the night. Another small downside was that the neighboring rooms are quite close, so there isn’t a lot of privacy and you can sometimes hear nearby guests. That said, the atmosphere of the hotel is peaceful and relaxing, and the staff and overall environment make it a very pleasant place to stay. If you’re happy with a more natural, eco-style experience and can handle the heat, Mango Bay is a lovely spot in Phu Quoc

Negative: Apart from lack of AC in my room, another small downside was the food offering. While the food quality was excellent at both restaurants, there wasn’t a lot of authentic Vietnamese food available outside of breakfast. It would have been nice to see more local Vietnamese dishes on the lunch and dinner menus to match the otherwise very local and natural feel of the resort. Lots of wildlife in my room, but that’s to be expected.

Summary: Lovely eco resort with a great natural vibe, though heat and close neighbours were small downsides.

Positive: It was a beautiful beach. The breakfast was excellent, so many delicious things to choose from and a beautiful setting.

Negative: The restaurant was very expensive. The price was about four times as much as just outside the resort.

Positive: Location! Staff! Restaurants! View! Convenience ( shooter rental, massage places nearby,restaurants nearby).But the beautiful resort invites just to stay and to unwind. Yoga classes in the morning were an extra treasure. Breakfast very delicious.

Positive: Massive private beach. Some areas are sandy, and others are rocky with a variety of sea animals. Perfect breakfast with so many options. Sunset. Rooms are impeccable. Many shops and restaurants nearby.
