Negative: Although the reception and guidance to my room was up to 5 star standard, i experienced significant service issues during my stay. Room service at extension 250 was very difficult to reach. Although the reception staff were helpful, the outcome was disappointing: after 30 minutes and three phone calls, I received honey on an open plate instead of in a sealed jar. In addition, I waited 30 minutes for my car. The valet was unable to start it due to the new keycard system, which resulted in me having to walk with my suitcases behind him to retrieve the car myself. Breakfast was also below expectations. I ordered an omelet without mushrooms, but it was served with mushrooms. The bread assortment and overall selection were very limited. This level of service does not align with what one would expect from a five-star hotel. I sincerely hope that my future visit to the soon-to-be-opened Mandarin in Dubai Downtown will be more in line with the standards your brand represents
