Positive: Clean rooms, very spacious, also very big bathroom. Very friendly people at the front desk; available 24/7. There is a nice relaxing area as well. And they have two restaurants at the hotel as well, which is very convenient.

Negative: the reservation of the wellness makes it not that flexible. I would have liked that to be different. The restaurants were quite pricey for the quality of the food. Not bad, but also not great.

Negative: While the hotel’s concept and atmosphere are clearly designed to be lively and social, the level of noise each night was excessively loud and significantly disruptive. Music and party noise continued well into the late hours, making it extremely difficult to rest. The designated quiet time of 12:00 midnight is simply too late for guests who are staying at the hotel for relaxation, sightseeing, or business purposes. It felt as though the hotel prioritized nightlife and party activities over the comfort and well-being of its overnight guests. Unfortunately, this lack of balance between entertainment and guest comfort negatively impacted the quality of my stay and did not align with the expectations of a hotel experience. I believe Mama Shelter would greatly benefit from reconsidering its noise policies, enforcing earlier quiet hours, or offering better soundproofing or guest accommodations to ensure a restful environment for all guests. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as it affected not only my experience but could also impact future guests seeking comfort and rest during their stay in Rome.
