Summary: Booked the stay last minute for the Jazz Festival,and so glad we chose Malmaison. Alex at the front desk was fantastic,friendly and very welcoming and we were also able to park in the underground garage. We stayed in a Club deluxe room which was amazing,overall couldn’t fault anything,this hotel will now be our go to hotel in Cheltenham.

Summary: The room and bathroom were very clean, as was the hotel in general. Our only disappointment was the standard of service at breakfast; whilst the food was excellent the service left a bit to be desired and the waitress was thoroughly miserable. She appeared to focus on table cleaning around us rather than being attentive to guests’ needs. Thankfully our breakfast was not contaminated by the cleaning fluid that she was using at an adjacent table.

Summary: Booked a Junior Suite and very disappointed with the room - bed was very uncomfortable, walls very thin so kept awake for most of the night with noises in the corridor and adjacent rooms, room amenities were outdated and poorly maintained.

Summary: Nice enough, but nothing special. A couple of little things made it 4 stars not 5- we only had one towel between two of us, the water pressure from the tap was very poor, the lights seemed to not be working all fully, and we couldn’t seem to turn the extractor fan off completely! But the bed was comfy enough and the room was clean. The room was also quiet, we had no road noise.

Summary: It’s in the right part of Cheltenham. Close enough to Montpellier, but not so close it’s outside. 20 minute walk from Cheltenham Spa train station, or catch a cab.
