Positive: We only live 10 miles away but we’re escaping our daughter’s 30th birthday party, who had eleven guests staying in all our bedrooms. Erm, OK, call us cowards but… So, we want somewhere close to Winchester that was clean and tidy. But we were delighted by what we found - a truly classy, lovely cottage, with all you could ask for, within walking distance of the cathedral and all the delights of Winchester. And a lovely garden that gently wound down through cascades of beautifully-kept terraces to the river. Fantastic! And it had off-street parking for our car (although we opted for our little Mini Cooper, as opposed to our Aston Martin - a wise choice, as it happens, as a long car might have been tricky).

Negative: Absolutely nothing.

Summary: A real treasure - the essence of British class, with an added feminine touch.

Positive: The property was beautiful. Lovely decor, fantastic gardens and situated very close to the shops. The beds were so comfortable and the en-suites were of a great finish. Liked the large showers and ideal having a parking spot too.

Negative: Nothing that we disliked. Would possibly have preferred curtains in the living room area for use in the evenings.

Summary: Had a fantastic stay and would 100% return in the future.
