We do events and parties so we have our booking available for one day stays, but for a vacation rental our minimum is two nights.
Unique 4 bedroom 5 bathroom luxury resort estate on 39 acres with epic panoramic views from every window. The gorgeous blue Pacific Ocean, Channel Islands, Boney Mountain, and unspoiled nature surround this paradise.
You'll have total privacy, quiet solitude, and sweeping vistas, and you're less than a mile to the beach! Uncrowded local beaches are a three or four minute drive down the hill, with County Line Beach, one of the most famous California surf spots about 5 minutes away.
Enjoy seeing the whales migrating, dolphins jumping, and sea lions basking in the sun. This is nature at it's best!
Lounge by the saltwater pool on the overstuffed chaises, take in the magnificent sunsets from the spa, float on a raft and recharge, or just curl up by the wood burning fireplace and enjoy the spellbinding views from the picture windows. You won't find another place like this.
Take a class on the Peloton treadmill.
The unique location away from other neighbors and lights allows you to take in shooting stars at night and nap in peace under one of the shade pavilions.
No detail has been overlooked. This home has been designed for comfort and luxury. The beds and linens are top notch, the state of the art entertainment system allows for music throughout and outside. Flat screen TV's are everywhere. It's fully air conditioned for the rare occasion when the sea breeze is not cooperating. High speed WiFi, Satellite TV with all the premium channels, top of line appliances and kitchenware, and luxury furnishings are what you'll find throughout.
Enjoy a BBQ with friends on our Viking 54" BBQ grill with sear burner and rotisserie while overlooking the ocean and mountains.
There are incredible hiking trails and you can hike right from the house with views over the water without seeing another person for hours. We can guide you to some of our secret hikes that consistently wow our guests!
Say hello to Zippy, our resident road runner, or the little grey fox that visits in the evenings. Catch a family of deer grazing in the grass, or spend some time watching the hummingbirds buzz around the garden.
This gated property has a full alarm system with alarm screens that allow you to enjoy the fresh air while the house is monitored for the security conscious.
We have security cameras for safety but they are only outside. The cameras around the house are turned off when guests are renting the house. There is one camera at the bottom of our driveway by the gate and the road, about 300 feet from the house, and we normally leave that one on for guest safety, but we're happy to turn it off if at our guests request.
The understated landscape lighting at night is beautiful and if you're an early riser you'll be treated to both a magical sunrise, and a spectacular sunset each day and evening while you're staying at Deer Creek Ridge. Summary: Everything was great! Rick was very responsive and helpful, and most of the questions I had were answered by the check in instructions anyway (my bad for not looking it up diligently enough). The house is very well setup with Alexa and remotes and various smart buttons. The sheer number of the buttons can be a bit overwhelming though, but we managed no problem. The spa was very good - spacious, and an amazing spot for stargazing or watching the sunset. Mosquitoes can bother you in evenings, so just be aware, and bring repellants or antihistamines. The ocean and mountain views from the master bedroom balcony are gorgeous, truly a sight to behold. Close-by dining options are limited, but we were using the grill to cook - its big, uses propane, and surprisingly generates a pretty nice crust on veggies. The house is about an hour drive from Santa Monica/LAX, but the remoteness was one of the primary reasons we picked this in first place. Loved it! Would love to stay there again

Summary: The Deer Creek Ridge Villa is a thoughtfully decorated period piece that offers vistas so beautiful, you will be asking yourself why would I even leave to explore Malibu. It is the rare occasion, when the amenities somehow are the feature attraction in a region so beautiful. While, it can easily accommodate many more people, it managed to be very intimate for our family of four. I would strongly recommend this lovely home to anyone looking to visit the very finest at Malibu has to offer. Dr. DSM and family

Summary: The retreat is better than what the pictures can tell. The view is spectacular. The house is really beautiful. The garden with its plants and flowers is sublime. The pool is a beauty and very deep. The owners were super helpful. The kitchen is well equipped. Cleanliness was perfect...my wife is very critical on the subject. Beds were comfortable. Perfect location for road biking (good luck on the hills), hiking and obviously surfing.

Summary: Its hard to imagine a more elegantly situated, constructed, designed, furnished, beloved home for a personal retreat, and/or to gather, elevate and celebrate a special moment! Truly exquisite details everywhere! Note: It was my first rental that charges per person, either by a nightly or day rate depending on your type of stay (beyond 2 people). With that said, Rick was a very warm, attentive host who promptly responded to any questions or requests as they arose. I would be grateful to return for a future stay; it is a simply magical spot to be savored in the highest!
