Summary: On the whole, the Malibu Country Inn is fun and cute, if not a bit shabby chic. It could use a few updates, i.e. the ice machine was not working and some features advertised were just for show (the in room fireplace is only decorative). That said, it is close the beach, affordable, and in an amazing location. Plus, Aaron at the front desk is super chill.

Summary: Hotel is in a great location. Very close to Zuma beach. I chose the room with the beautiful ocean view but unfortunately the windows were very dirty and the window tint film was peeling. The window screens were broken. No smoke detector in room. Room and bathroom lights were burned out. Mold in shower.

Summary: Terrible hotel. Sheets were dirty in multiple spots. Couldn’t ask front desk because they leave at 11 till the next morning. Killed 3 bugs before I went to bed. The construction is the worst quality I’ve ever seen. Probably the reason there were so many bugs.
