Positive: Gorgeous property just a quick 7 minute walk from the train station and right next door to the Herculaneum. 10-15 minute walk to the Mediterranean and plenty of restaurants to choose from. Post office is right across the street if you need to mail anything home. Beds are comfortable and the washer/dryer combo work perfectly. WiFi is a little slow but that was fine for us. Nice size kitchen and the view is top notch. Amazing little pizza restaurant right downstairs. Would absolutely stay again. The area is a little run down and I say this only to prepare you. It was perfect for us and We always felt safe.. remember, it’s OLD, and with that comes the charm and history that Italy is known for.

Negative: The stairs lol. A minor inconvenience but I had to put something that wasn’t perfect.

Summary: Stunning remodeled condo in a prime location with views for days.

Positive: The flat is in an excellent location and provides good accommodation for a small group. The kitchen utensils are limited; we had to request a chopping board and knife. A tea towel would also have been expected.

Positive: This apartment is located in the historical town of Ercalano. Ideal location to see Amalfi Coast, Bay of Naples & Capri. Lovely restaurants and cafe bars for dinner and breakfast all within a 5 minute walk. Train station Ercalano Scavi (there are 3 Ercalano train stations) is 10 minutes walk. Sorrento by train 1 hour and Naples 20 minutes. Excellent Info Office near Ercalano Scavi train station where you can book boat trips to Capri, Amalfi Coast etc... Pick up from outside the apartment so very convenient. We had considered hiring a car but did not need it.

Negative: No elevator, Apartment on 3rd Floor. A second couch in living area would be good.

Positive: location was good with lots of restaurants/food nearby and right next to herculaneum; also lovely view. convenient washer/dryer.

Negative: there was no soap; would like more seating. only one set of keys meant we had to coordinate.
