The proprietor was notably welcoming and accommodating, kindly upgrading my room after my original reservation was mistakenly given to another guest. The property maintained a peaceful atmosphere with minimal foot traffic, creating a quiet retreat despite soundproofing that would likely prove inadequate during busier periods.

Negative: The property showed unmistakable signs of deferred maintenance and hasty upkeep, perhaps attributable to end-of-season weariness. The room's spatial planning was compromised by a large sofa that felt like an afterthought, restricting movement around the bed; the bed frame itself sat off-center from the room's intended design axis, creating an awkward visual and functional imbalance. Cleaning appeared rushed rather than meticulous. General maintenance tasks had been overlooked throughout both private and common spaces. The pool area and shared spaces displayed visible neglect. Most problematic was the mold and mildew present in the bathroom, documented in my photos—fortunately, my brief evening stay didn't result in any health complications. For a property with such thoughtful design foundations, the lapse in basic maintenance standards was particularly disappointing.

Positive: Good location and renovated place - felt spacious enough. Owner/manager was very nice.

Negative: Aircon smelled of sewage. Was probably picking up air from somewhere nasty. Coilult not use it. Balcony was communal ( not useable at all if you wanted privacy. ) romms at lower floor are a no go! No view and pretty dark - especially ground floor is right next to the reception. The “pool” was TINNY and dirty.

Summary: Ok but a lot to be desired for the price

Positive: It was very clean and beautifully decorated. The location is excellent, near all the restaurants and the port but quiet and tucked away. The bed was very comfortable, good aircon, wifi etc and the manager Kostas was very welcoming and helpful.

Negative: The patio room was very cramped (only a foot around the bed), as was the bathroom. The shower is very small with a curtain, and is not really usable, especially if you are tall. Although the hotel is very smartly done, the room felt far too small for the price. There isn’t lots of space for any belongings, which would have made staying for any length of time challenging. There were also a few basic things missing that we would have liked- eg shampoo and conditioner. Also, it wasn’t advertised that the breakfast is not actually in the hotel, but in a busy cafe on the port by the ferry terminal.

Summary: Overall, a nice stay but overpriced for the size of room.

Positive: The location was the best, the hotel manager was very friendly and helpful with everything.

Negative: The standard room was very small we did a hard time while unpacking in the room

Summary: Next time we go there, we’ll choose the bigger room for sure.
