Positive: The location was on a main road, easy to find with parking available on site. The room was well appointed and comfortable. The hosts were very friendly and accomodating, willing to answer all of our questions, provide recommendations and tips for the area. Breakfast was wonderful - homemade items, local fare and special touches each morning. We were allowed access to the garden and use of the pool (though it wasn't warm enough for us yet). We visited Tongeren for the Sunday antique market. We were able to walk to town for sightseeing, dinner and the market; the approximately 10-minute walk was safe on a sidewalk and marked route. Tongeren was a wonderful town with lots to see, good restaurants. The antique market was expansive - expect to walk a lot and get there early!

Negative: We had a wonderful stay - no complaints! Just to manage expectations, the room did not have a television, but we didn't mind not having the distraction.

Summary: Highly recommend Maison Margriet for a leisurely visit to the area.
