Positive: The maison is located in the middle of a forest, surrounded by trees. We arrived by car without any troubles and there was spacious parking waiting for us. The greatest thing is that Romain and Pauline (and their two daughters) create an atmosphere that makes you feel at home. They are kind and open and it was lovely to talk with them (in French and in English). We had dinner at the maison, we ate an amazing curry vegetables with rice plus a typical French dessert (simple but super tasty, we loved it!!!). Also breakfast was really great, we had yogurt with fruits, French croissants and bread with homemade jam, eggs and cheese, all with a beautiful and relaxing view on the forest. The room was cozy and full of little details that gave it a lovely vintage look (including a functioning vinyl record player with a lot of different records to choose from!), with private toilet and bathroom. We loved everything and wished we could have stayed longer! :) Also, Romain told us that they are envisaging rénovation works to upgrade/expand the maison so we hope to come back soon and get to see the outcome!

Positive: The owners were lovely and welcoming: the perfect hosts. We were so relaxed at their property, and enjoyed wandering around the garden, seeing the ponies, and sitting on the terrace. We really enjoyed the yummy dinner served on the terrace watching the sunset.

Positive: The most relaxing place ever. Pauline and Romain truly have created a home from home that is a balm for the soul. The food is spectacular and plentiful and there is an awesome drink selection. Time slows down to a beautiful crawl and nothing is ever too much trouble for these wonderful hosts.

Positive: It's hard to overstate exactly how good our experience of staying at Pauline and Romain's place was. The food was excellent home cooking - both dinner and breakfast were amazing and good value. The rooms have everything you need especially if you want to escape from TV and the location a great mix between urban and countryside - within 200m of kms of walks and mountain bike trails and within 30 mins drive of Rouen. Can not recommend this property enough.
Negative: Absolutely nothing - everything was perfect.
Summary: Great location, superb accommodation, wonderful food but, most especially, the most amazing hosts!
