Summary: We really enjoyed the location, very close to Gien centre but so peaceful for the five of us. Philippe was on hand when needed (thank you) and the pool and surrounding grounds kept us busy whilst we stayed on site. A really good holiday

Summary: We loved our short stay in Gien. The house was great, the surrounding gardens are well kept and the kids had a great time exploring. The pool is perfect and clean. It is beautifully peaceful. We would definitely recommend this charming gite. My only very small feedback would be that the kitchen was lacking some vital cooking equipment, including chopping board, peeler, cheese grater.. However these were provided when requested. Thanks again for a delightful stay!

Summary: Communication with Alix was efficient and effective and having Olivier on site was brilliant. Helpful, always happy for banter and full of useful information, he helped to make our stay relaxed and comfortable. Loved the walks in the woods and the lakes were enjoyed by the men in the party plus the patio area was gorgeous. We were secluded from the gite next door, it felt private and not at all crowded. The gite is a good base for local wine tasting as well as going to Sancerre and Pouilly Fumé. Comfortable and generally well equipped, it was brilliang for 2 couples as each bedroom could have its own bathroom. Plenty of space for relaxing, it was just what we needed for a chilled holiday. We will be back!

Summary: The property is beautifully situated, clean and welcoming. We had some difficulties checking in/out due to the fact that we didn’t speak French terribly well, but in the grand scheme of things, it did not spoil our stay. The property is lovely and perfect for a relaxing break.
