Positive: The hosts lived next door, so everything was straightforward and effortless. The property was ideal for a quick stopover (and would be even better for a longer stay). The hosts couldn't have been more accommodating—well recommended.

Positive: It was easy to communicate with the host before arrival to arrange for the extra sofa-bed. We gave an estimated time of arrival but were 1/2 hour behind schedule when we finally reached Maison Chinsa. We were met by the host who handed over the keys and was kindly waiting. We were shown the parking bay area and the host was attentive and available without being intrusive throughout. The Maison has a quaint tidy self contained ground floor sitting room and kitchen-dinner with an upstairs bedroom and shower-toilet room and a well kept spacious outdoors. Nice for any length of stay: short overnights or extended weeks to explore the local valley with its villages and Chateaus.
Negative: It was cold outside and the gas stove heater needed to work hard to stop Maison Chinsa being "nippy".
Summary: A great place to charge your tired soul batteries.
