This beautiful Maison de Maitre was constructed in 1900, having been in the same family for over 100 years it has now been fully renovated, retaining beautiful features such as original doors and windows, stone floors and parquet flooring.
Maison Beaufleury is open plan downstairs and offering spacious, air-conditioned bedrooms upstairs.
The Kitchen/diner leads directly onto the decked area at the back of the house, which is south west facing, it's a spacious and practical outdoor area. There is a cooking station with a Plancha, a covered dining area and a shaded outdoor sofa. We also have also hammocks and sun-lounger's, all looking onto the garden and heated pool.
It's very private, quiet and enclosed.
The lounge area is comfortable, featuring an oversized sofa, flat screen tv & wifi access.
We also have children's books puzzles and family games.
You will soon feel very relaxed in the comforts of this welcoming Maison de Maitre, a home away from home.
Just 20 minutes away from the coast means you can take your pick of the best beaches Les Landes has to offer. Hossegor, Seignosse and Capbreton are all equidistant.
We have lots of surf schools and bike hire places for the lovers of an active holiday, and beautiful golf courses at Hossegor and Seignosse. The Lac d'hossegor offers sandy, waveless beaches, very much suited too family's with small children. The oyster shacks are also a must for seafood lovers. The water and waves are great for everyone and you will find the beach bars, where sandy toes can get out of the sunshine and enjoy a quick ice cream or a leisurely lunch, also very much appreciated for the sunset and apero's.
Capbreton boast a beautiful Marina, full of the chimes of boats and seafood restaurants, Chez Minus is a local institution for Moules Frites!
You have aquatic parks in Le Pennon and Labenne.
Other places of interest for day trips would be Bayonne, Biarritz, San Sebastian and St Jean du Luz. La Rhune and the rolling green hills and mountains of the Basque Country.

Summary: The house is absolutely lovey - decorated beautifully and with everything you could ever need in a holiday home. The location is a local village, which is great for nipping up to the boulangerie in the morning. And you’re close enough to the beaches, while being able to escape back to the house for an afternoon around the pool. The kids especially loved the pool! And when it got later in the day we spent many hours playing with the board games. Our favourite beach was Soustons Plage - a lovely open beach with plenty of room so it never felt busy and we were easily able to do social distancing. The owners of the property are super helpful and friendly. It was handy having them next door, so while we knew they were there we didn’t see them unless we needed to. All in all it was a wonderful holiday at a wonderful house and we would recommend it to everyone!

Summary: Had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful house. Absolutely perfect set up for families and Julie and her husband were so welcoming and helpful. It's such a fantastic area with so much to see and do within a short drive. Would absolutely recommend and will definitely be back!

Summary: This was a truly amazing property, as soon as you arrived you felt comfortable as it had lovely home comforts and that outside space was stunning. Julie was very welcoming and was always happy to provide recommendations for local beaches and places to visit. You would definitely need a vehicle to visit the wonderful beaches and towns, but, trying to drag the children away from the fabulous pool at the house meant we rarely left until after midday. This house is a true gem and with wonderful hosts you would be guaranteed a fantastic holiday.

Summary: We really enjoyed Beaufleury. Well laid out and clean. There was a local shop in the village 5 mins walk away where everyone went and only French was spoken. The local river was brilliant with canoeing and cycling - again all in French, and a real contrast to the coast which had its usual inundation of tourists. We went on several walking trips in Pays Basque, degustation a trip to San Sebastian. And it was warm and sunny!

Summary: If you love old houses and their special character , you shouldn't miss this one! The owners did a great job in renovating this old maison du maître. We (my husband, three adult kids and I) enjoyed every minute in this clean and well-maintained beautiful old house in quiet Saint Jean de Marsacq. The very friendly owners and their pets provided a very good customer service during our stay. Numerous beaches and so many other interesting places and cities can be reached by car in less than 30 minutes. For sure not our last vacation on this property!
