Positive: Maison Almati près de l'île enchantée is a very beautiful and exceptionally finished property. Communication with Valerie was excellent. We had to contact her on arrival as we had difficulty finding the lock box. I hasten to add it was not difficult, we just made it so! The property is in a very quiet area with some wonderful walks close by. The location is a little bit outside of Caen and transport is required, hence why we have not given the top mark for location. HOWEVER, this is a very minor point as the house itself is absolutely stunning. The kitchen is very well equipped and preparing meals is a pleasure in the fantastic open plan setting. Highly recommended and we hope to return some time in the future.

Positive: The house was lovely, a very nice place to be. The beds were comfortable and the amenities were everything that was needed. This would be a perfect place to have relaxing downtime.

Negative: The location is a little out of the way for tourists. We chose it as a stepping off place to explore Normandy for which it was great.
