Positive: Clean and modern apartment in a quiet area. Efficient service on arrival and departure. Good price.

Negative: The add announced free airport transfer but it was not that easy. I sent a message 28 hours before our arrival and was told that they couldn't arrange it as it was not more than 24 hours. They finally agreed to organize it but never acknowledged the fact that their answer was inadequate. Then, at the last moment, the driver announced that one car may not be enough and that I would have to pay for another one. Once again, after some back and forth messages, it was solved. On the day of departure, the car who came to collect us had its trunk full of stuff, so it was difficult to fit all our luggage. In hindsight, for a single night between flights, I would take an hotel at the airport.

Positive: Although it is about 30 minutes from the centre of Cairo, this area is an oasis of tranquillity. Just what you need after a day amidst the incessant noise and chaos of Cairo. We made our own breakfast. There are good shops nearby. The kitchen is pretty well appointed

Negative: It is a long way from the city centre, but taxis are cheap and the rides are thrilling. Our host was really good at ordering taxis and getting a really good price.

Positive: Super comfortable beds and a very nice shower with great water pressure. Free transport to the airport at any time. Great price for what you get.

Negative: It is still a 20-25 minutes drive to the airport. I didn’t mind it but is something to keep in mind.
