Positive: It was a beautiful cosy apartment, everything you could need was provided. Lovely tea/coffee station with chocolate snacks provided and milk in the fridge. The bed was so comfortable and cozy. The bathroom was warm and so clean, they even had shower gel and plenty of towels. The owners checked both days if we needed anything, they are the staff were so friendly. The food and wine in O’Carrolls restaurant was excellent and Maisie Ryan’s bar was welcoming and cosy. Loved everything about our 2night stay even though it rained it was still amazing to wake up beside the sea 😍

Negative: It’s a bit strange concept as the apartment has been created from a part of a bar. It’s a very nicely decorated apartment (although there’s are no cooking facilities so staying longer than for a night would defeat the purpose of staying in an apartment). It’s a bit loud because of the adjacent bar and people entering the bar can stare inside. Also the roof leaks near the front window.

Negative: Bar and restaurant were closed on the day we stayed. Very disappointing as part of the reason we booked was convenience of these. Had to drive elsewhere for any food.

Positive: The apartment is well furnished and has a very relaxed feel. The location is great as its right on the beach at O'carrolls cove although you need to expect some noise from the bar next door in the evening. The hosts were very friendly and accommodated an early arrival.

Negative: The vegetarian food in the restaurant could do with a couple more options. Although the apartment is not big enough for a full kitchen, a microwave might be a good idea for those who want to do their own food rather than eat out.

Positive: A beautiful, cozy beach apartment that we instantly fell in love with!! Waking up to the sound of the waves in this gorgeous spot was truly a highlite of our 8 day trip and such a lovely way to break up the drive of the Ring of Kerry! if you’re in the area, this is a must!
