Summary: The hotel itself was very nice. Staff were kind, the room was bigger than I expected and beds were nice, and I recommend getting the breakfast - they have a nice selection. Only problem is if you do not have a car to get to travel around, it is a walk to the train station. But that's only a minor inconvenience. Great price for the rooms, would recommend.

Summary: Had a really nice 3 night stay here whilst visiting friends in Wurzburg. The hotel is a very typical German country hotel, immaculately clean with nice staff and comfortable rooms and a slight 'furnished in the 70s' feel, but in a nice way. Weekend breakfast staff were particularly welcoming and very friendly. The hotel is located in a quiet residential area about 15 minutes walk from a footbridge over the river Mein which takes you over to Veitshochheim where there are nice riverfront restaurants and a lovely riverside walk, you can also get the river trip boat from here into Wurzburg.
