Reviewer Type: Couple

Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Bedroom, facilities, food and drink (beer!), flowers and plants in the area, view of the sea from its backyard, and mr.Johan's customer service.

Negative: Rental motorbike is not advertised clearly. Needs to put a sign on the reception about this so that tourists wont miss the chance of renting a motorbike to go around the island. It would also be worthwhile to have a generator. Overall, its a pleasant experience staying here.

Summary: Recommended place to stay and enjoy Saparua island

Positive: This was the perfect getaway and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment there. This is a very old school lodge oozing with charm & beauty (the garden) but may not suit some. Johan was an absolutely fantastic host and was full of advice, guidance & information. He speaks very good English. I will definitely be returning.

Negative: Nothing

Summary: A charming and wonderful getaway with superb hosts
