Summary: Our room had a new wall air-conditioning that rattled all night long. All the plastic pieces rattled & moaned whenever the compressor turned on & sounded like it would fall apart at any moment. The breakfast was below par unless you like waffles.

Summary: Our room desperately needed a bathroom redo. There was rotting wood in the bathroom. The manager stated the room was to be redone soon. Also need to upgrade their linens

Summary: The room looked rather old, but it was clean and comfortable. One issue was the minimal number of electric outlets in the room. There was no outlet adjacent to the desk, and one of the two outlets to the right of the bed did not work. Also, the numbering of the rooms is not in sequence and very confusing. All of the rooms should be renumbered so that they run in sequence.

Summary: The hotel is being renovated, but not noisy. The room was very clean, reasonably priced. Close to Jim Thorpe, where we spent a few days on the trail and in town. Hotels in Jim Thorpe are very expensive, so I was glad to see the Mahoning Inn was reasonable.
