Positive: Our stay at Mahina Lodge was absolutely fantastic! From the very first moment, we felt welcome and at home. The lodge is exceptionally clean, well maintained, and has a warm, relaxing atmosphere that makes you feel like part of the family. We would especially like to thank Anne and Rodney. They are among the kindest and most hospitable hosts we have ever met. You can immediately see how much they care about their guests, and they go above and beyond to make sure everyone has a wonderful stay. We will never forget the amazing evenings we spent with them. The conversations, the laughter, and the genuine warmth they shared made our holiday truly unforgettable. We highly recommend Mahina Lodge to anyone visiting Tonga and would gladly stay there again. Thank you, Anne and Rodney, for making our trip so special. We hope to see you again one day! Anni & Richard

Positive: I really enjoyed my time there. The lodge is operated by a really nice australian couple. For its remoteness the rooms were amazing. Can only recommend this place.

Positive: Loved the high-pressure hot shower (a real luxury in the South Pacific!), thoughtful design of my fale, great hospitality, remote location, amazing snorkelling, and dark sky for stargazing!
Negative: Breakfast was good but would be better if more cooked items are included. I missed having eggs as an option. Would also be ideal if kayaks were included in room price, rather than charged to hire.
Summary: A slice of heaven in a secluded location!
