Positive: The location is great, near all the main sights, facing the river and a tram stop. There are lots of restaurants nearby. The indoor parking is at 5 minutes walk, and you get a free parking card from the host, this is absolutely wonderful. Many thanks to our host Alatz who arranged an earlier check-in as we arrived in the morning. Finally, we had an appartment with two bathrooms+showers, this is comfy!

Negative: We enjoyed the stay :), but others may benefit from the notes below, that’s why I am sharing these. The dwelling is described on booking as 63m2 and fit for 6 people. There are indeed 6 sleeping places. But the apartment is quite small, and the beds are small. We were with 3 adults and the space was just ok. Probably 63m2 is measured including the large 20 square meter terrace. There were many mosquitos (in August), but no screens on the windows unfortunately. There was no airco, just fans, this seems to be a consequence of the strict architectural regulations Bordeaux has to meet being Unesco heritage. You need the property wifi, mobile phones tend to have poor connectivity within the building. Poor sound insulation: one clearly hears the neighbours talking.
